The ongoing restructuring of the National Team which began a year ago has seen the Black Bombers develop following series of training programmes and tournaments put in place by the Federation. At this phase of the process, the Federation can envisage that if developmental and training programmes are sustained and supported by Government, the Ghana Olympic Committee and Corporate Ghana, the Nation would have a formidable squad for the 2013 World Boxing Championships, 2014 Commonwealth Games and beyond.
The Federation registers its appreciation to Mr. Dave Harper, Chief Executive Officer of Geodrill Company Limited and His Excellency Ambassador Ray Quarcoo, Goodwill Sports Ambassador – Ghana, through whose sponsorship/funding, the team has been able to embark on successful training programmes ahead of this crucial tournament.
