Enjoying the "Ghana Schools Net"  teachers & students, parent's all concern for sharing' blogs etc: have read News papers, and other websites I like this one mostly because blogs about your education
system in Ghana helps somewhat to learn about the country. I do have a few friends from Ghana that I meet on other site, also  some people here in America the city were I live. I have so many questions but hesitate asking not wanting to be labeled has rude are ignorant. A elder woman whom worked on the Army base @ Fort Bliss would tell my sister Ghana same as, American home stores etc: but, I  am more interested in the people have read article "good and bad" which is everywhere in the world. But our countries do differ in culture and tradition, such as many different tribes, along with tradition. At one time I thought of Africa as ONE" but no many different countries and  langue too, I am told over 300, a friend from Africa says known to her only three countries wow ! If I were younger and I  would explore every country and speak with the people too, I also have learn foreigners are not "Welcome" by all I dislike very much when reffer to has a "Western" especially being of African descents. I also seeing not much history known of descents' wish the youth that are many in Africa' would speak with the elder so more history could be told & written about in books. In America there is great thirst for this knowledge, Have been on dating site were I meet a gentleman from Africa which found delightful but long disctance & especially cultue found have allot do with relationship survail
" Love must be learned, and learned again and again; there is no end to it. Hate needs no insturuction but wants only to be provoked. I'd also like to meet more female from Africa not many comment on blogs or  discussions I notice are, told, African women are  considered third class citizens not having much say in the communities or home if no degrees or born into wealth. Also  government  does  not allow deeds  to land even though  most women work the land and attend to well being of her family' baring children, work inside the home for the most of their life? The pictures I have seen few' of Africa very beautiful, the cities well some not so but, I guess when more jobs are  created the problem solved' so much wealth and  land, I pray  the future generations will have Great leaders inventors etc: God Bless Africa I Thank Ghana School Net for allowing me to post articles and express my
opinions & thoughts.                              Sincerely, Dalla Mae...unesdoc.unesco.org

The African festival hosted by Brooklyn Academy of Music was held on memorial day weekend. I was able to attend the Bazaar which aims to replicate the typical african market place. The event showcased artwork, fashion, literature, music, etc from African, afro-carribean and african american cultures..
Al most  all  African American events items of

A cyber cafe, also often referred to as an Internet cafe, is a location that provides Internet access to patrons for a fee. It may be a restaurant, coffee shop or snack bar or simply have stations at which people can connect their laptop computers or handheld computerized devices to the Internet. Fees for the connections are normally charged on credit or debit cards and are calculated by the minute, hour or portions of hours.

The first Internet cafe network was established in 1991 in the United States in San Francisco, California. Twenty-five coin operated connection terminals were placed in different coffeehouses throughout the city and enabled customers to access a local computer bulletin board where they could exchange messages. In 1992, the service expanded to include connections to Internet mail services throughout the world.

Two years later, the first cyber cafe that provided comprehensive Internet access opened inLondon, England. Its popularity inspired multiple cyber cafe openings over the next year at various international locations. In 1997, the first cyber cafe dedicated to Internet gaming enthusiasts opened in Korea.

Today almost every major city worldwide has a number of cyber cafes. They are generally frequented by locals who gather to personally socialize while connected to the Internet. A significant number of cyber cafe patrons are also travelers who use the public access connections to maintain contact with family and friends through e-mail and instant messaging services. Many people use the cafe services to e-mail pictures of their travels back home for the enjoyment of others.

The video game cyber cafe model that originated in Korea has been expanded and improved in many cities. These locations typically have custom-made computers designed to accommodate sophisticated online games. The online competitions are customarily played by several players at once who are frequently located all over the world. This gaming cafe phenomenon has considerably affected the popularity of video arcades formerly frequented by fans of cyberspace game playing. A considerable number of these arcades are being considered for transformation into cyber cafes.

Around the same time that cyber cafes were gaining popularity, cyber kiosks were introduced. These Internet access booths first appeared in airports and public libraries and are frequently used for very short periods of time to verify appointments and information while on the go. Similar connections are generally available for guests of resorts, motels, hotels and cruise lines who pay a flat or hourly rate for the convenience. Many of these guest connections offer the option of wireless Internet access as well.
